The SMARTY® 3-in-1 Form™ Jacket is 686's most versatile outerwear system, combining a 20,000mm waterproof/15,000g breathable shell with a removable infiLOFT™ 160g PolyfIll thermal puff jacket — giving you three distinct wear options in a single system. Built with PFAS-free DWR and 2-layer infiDRY® 20K 100% Recycled Polyester Fabric, it delivers serious weather protection while keeping sustainability front of mind.

The inner puff jacket features infiLOFT 160g PolyfIll insulation throughout the body and sleeves with a stretch-poly fleece side body panel for added mobility and warmth. The SMARTY® Compatible system connects the two layers via a Pant Jacket Connect™ zipper interface, while Air-Flo™ underarm vents keep you from overheating on the skin track or high-output days. The fully taped Bemis® seams and helmet-compatible hood round out a package built for serious mountain conditions.

With an 8-pocket design including a phone heater pocket, internal goggle + lens stash pocket, and chest/sleeve pass pocket with inner key clip, it has everything you need for a full day out.
