About Atlas
Atlas Snowshoe Company revolutionized snowshoeing from their Seattle base since 1990, starting with founder Perry Klebahn's Stanford thesis that became the first patented snowshoe design in over four decades. Atlas builds snowshoes that push the sport forward, from racing models with titanium cleats to the groundbreaking Elektra Collection based on dedicated women's biomechanics research.
Atlas sponsors 38 racing athletes across the country and developed the Spring Loaded Suspension Design that changed how snowshoes perform on varied terrain. Their tubular collection and racing snowshoes represent decades of innovation in lightweight materials and advanced binding systems. Atlas also founded National Winter Trails Day with SIA and runs women's workshops and youth outreach programs that grow the sport beyond just gear.
