The NUB is a freerider’s freestyle board and a freestyler’s freerider board. The Long Nose Twin shape and progressive side cut make it look like a directional board, even though it is a twin tip based on the contact points. It rides and lands switch without the twitch of directional shapes. The long nose provides plenty of float in the powder, and the optimum stance puts you in the sweet spot of the traditional camber and side cut. The NUB is the favorite board of team riders John Jackson, Scott Blum, and Shuhei Sato. Snowboard graphic by Nick Dirks.
CAMBER
Traditional Camber: A single convex arc between the board’s contact points ensures predictable edge hold, load, and rebound as pressure is exerted and expelled throughout the rider’s turn.
WOOD CORE
MOD 4: A unique blend of poplar, bamboo, and Paulownia wood in a balanced array, make this Core lighter and provide increased repulsion, increased strength, and a lively feel.
CORE PROFILE
Twin Wave Form: In accordance with the position of the hole pattern and the camber, the thickness of the core surface is partially adjusted to create a unique flex, enhancing shock absorption and control.
BASE
Premium Racing: This base utilizes a high-density, high-speed base material chosen for its molecular weight, which delivers unrivaled speed, excellent wear resistance, and increased wax permeability.
TIP TECHNOLOGY
Regular Tip: A traditional construction that features full wood core content from tip-to-tail for smooth-flexing stability and durability.
FIBERGLASS LAMINATE
Tri-Tex: This is our most advanced matrix; a 3-way lay up that combines Light fiberglass at 90 ?, 45 ?, and -45 ? degrees, ensuring unquestionable pop, rebound, flex, and torsion in our highest performance boards.
CARBON LAY UP
I Carbon: A 50 mm carbon stringer provides lightweight rigidity to improve pop and power in all environments.
