Description

The Zero will enhance your park and freestyle riding in numerous ways this winter.

The Zero is a unisex snowboard that knows no boundaries. It can be ridden by anyone, anywhere, at any time, thanks to the Standard Camber profile and Asymmetrical Quadratic Sidecut. The timeless graphic is a throwback to snowboarding days of classic, simple and unique look but its packed with technology to mirror today's landscape of innovation, with features like Flat Kick Tips on the nose and tail and a Performance Core to give you extra stability in the park and the streets. A favorite of team riders Jill Perkins and Reid Smith, the Zero is the next big thing in the RIDE line.

Tech

STANDARD CAMBER PROFILE:
A little bit of rise, medium amount of traditional camber.
ASYMMETRICAL SHAPE:
Asymmetric sidecut shaping improves heelside turn initiation and control. Offering perfect balance while turning through different radii for the heel and toe side edges, the board just feels right!
TWIN SHAPE:
Great for going both directions, same shape on the nose and tail of the board. Great for park riding, going switch, or just looking nice.
QUADRATIC SIDECUT:
Blending of three radii to improve turn initiation/exit while providing the best grip possible. This design is uniquely formulated for each model based on its shape and riding style.
SLIM WALLS:
RIDE's Slim Wall technology is the evolution of our Roll-in Construction to its extreme limit. By creating a fully 3-D composite structure over Slimewall® material, this revolutionary technology results in more efficient energy transfer, lighter weight construction, and even better damping.
DOUBLE IMPACT PLATES LAMINATES:
Added underneath each binding area to improve compressive strength and prevent board breaks where it matters most.

Offered in two levels, Single and Double.

CARBON ARRAY™ 3 LAMINATES:
This power distribution technology provides total board control in every stance location. Widespread carbon stringers placed at the binding zone gather input from any stance width and all pressure angles. Rider input is then channeled to the opposing contact point for maximum board control. Offered in two levels of technology, 3 & 5.
BIAXIAL GLASS FIBERGLASS:
90° and 0° angles, fun and forgiving.
SINTERED 4000 BASE:
High-end sintered 4000 Ptex base material that is more durable, harder and faster than extruded.
STONE GROUND BASE:
The absolute best way to finish building a snowboard. Nice and flat base, no weird bumps or extra material. Stone ground is the way to go, ask your local tune shop.
PERFORMANCE™ CORE:
High strength Aspen is combined with Bamboo and lightweight Paulownia wood to provide the perfect balance of strong and light.
CLEAVE EDGE™ STEEL EDGES:
Nearly 50% more steel, delivers unmatched resistance to edge cracking and can be detuned to larger radii.
WEND® MEADOWFOAM BIODEGRADABLE WAX:
The Meadowfoam® factory wax we use is made from wildflower seeds native to California and Oregon. All WEND® Meadowfoam® snow wax blends are non-toxic and completely biodegradable
30% RECYCLED STEEL EDGES:
Everyone knows about recycling, but nobody thinks about it when it comes to snowboard edges. Hell, do people even think about their snowboard edges? Luckily for you we’re thinking of both. Edges on RIDE Snowboards contain 30% recycled materials. That means part of your snowboard could be made out of a car, an airplane, a building, who knows. Anything steel and recycled could turn into a snowboard edge
FSC® CERTIFIED PAPER PACKAGING:
What does this mean for snowboard packaging? Well how about those stickers on the base that are a pain in the ass to peel off? Yup, made with FSC® Certified Materials. Boxes the boards are shipped in? Also FCS® Certified.
44% SOLAR PRODUCTION ENERGY:
44% and rising! We’re working with our factories to utilize solar energy when producing RIDE products. We’re currently at using 44% sustainable solar energy, with plans in the works to grow that number in the coming years.
