Description

If you're looking for a park and freestyle board for this winter, The Benchwarmer will step up and become a starter in your quiver.

The Benchwarmer is an aggressive twin shape suited to riders seeking hardpack performance in the park. The Benchwarmer offers our most aggressive camber profile for the riders demanding a precise and crisp ride. The Benchwarmer is at home on the big line of the park and on firm snow. The Extra Camber profile provides stability for jumping as well as aggressive high-speed turns. Asymmetric shaping improves heelside turn initiation and control with different radii for the heel and toeside edges. Carbon Array 3 gives you extra pop without adding stiffness. Carbon Slim Walls reduce weight, increase damping, increase energy transfer and enhance response stability and durability. The Benchwarmer is a performance-focused twin suited for intermediate to advanced riders looking for hard snow performance in a snappy, predictable twin shape.

EXTRA CAMBER PROFILE:
More camber!
ASYMMETRICAL SHAPE:
Asymmetric sidecut shaping improves heelside turn initiation and control. Offering perfect balance while turning through different radii for the heel and toe side edges, the board just feels right!
TWIN SHAPE:
Great for going both directions, same shape on the nose and tail of the board. Great for park riding, going switch, or just looking nice.
QUADRATIC SIDECUT:
Blending of three radii to improve turn initiation/exit while providing the best grip possible. This design is uniquely formulated for each model based on its shape and riding style.
CARBON SLIM WALLS:
Further improving on Ride's revolutionary Slim Wall technology, Carbon Slim Wall integrates a full-length Carbon-Urethane, composite laminate, that provides additional edge hold and energy transfer over our standard Slim Wall.
DOUBLE IMPACT PLATES LAMINATES:
Added underneath each binding area to improve compressive strength and prevent board breaks where it matters most.

Offered in two levels, Single and Double.

CARBON ARRAY™ 3 LAMINATES:
This power distribution technology provides total board control in every stance location. Widespread carbon stringers placed at the binding zone gather input from any stance width and all pressure angles. Rider input is then channeled to the opposing contact point for maximum board control. Offered in two levels of technology, 3 & 5.
HYBRID GLASS FIBERGLASS:
Triaxial on top, biaxial on base; balanced torsional flex and stiffness for better response with speed.
SINTERED 4000 BASE:
High-end sintered 4000 Ptex base material that is more durable, harder and faster than extruded.
STONE GROUND BASE:
The absolute best way to finish building a snowboard. Nice and flat base, no weird bumps or extra material. Stone ground is the way to go, ask your local tune shop.
PERFORMANCE™ CORE:
High strength Aspen is combined with Bamboo and lightweight Paulownia wood to provide the perfect balance of strong and light.
CLEAVE EDGE™ STEEL EDGES:
Nearly 50% more steel, delivers unmatched resistance to edge cracking and can be detuned to larger radii.
WEND® MEADOWFOAM BIODEGRADABLE WAX:
The Meadowfoam® factory wax we use is made from wildflower seeds native to California and Oregon. All WEND® Meadowfoam® snow wax blends are non-toxic and completely biodegradable
30% RECYCLED STEEL EDGES:
Everyone knows about recycling, but nobody thinks about it when it comes to snowboard edges. Hell, do people even think about their snowboard edges? Luckily for you we’re thinking of both. Edges on RIDE Snowboards contain 30% recycled materials. That means part of your snowboard could be made out of a car, an airplane, a building, who knows. Anything steel and recycled could turn into a snowboard edge
FSC® CERTIFIED PAPER PACKAGING:
What does this mean for snowboard packaging? Well how about those stickers on the base that are a pain in the ass to peel off? Yup, made with FSC® Certified Materials. Boxes the boards are shipped in? Also FCS® Certified.
44% SOLAR PRODUCTION ENERGY:
44% and rising! We’re working with our factories to utilize solar energy when producing RIDE products. We’re currently at using 44% sustainable solar energy, with plans in the works to grow that number in the coming years.

Why Get A Wide Board

Choosing between a wide and regular snowboard depends on a few factors. For riders with larger feet (size 11 or up), a wide snowboard can prevent boot drag, offering better stability and reducing the chance of catching an edge.

The extra surface area also improves floatation in deep snow and enhances control, making for a more comfortable and stable ride.
