About Girl
Girl Skateboards emerged in 1993 when pro skaters Mike Carroll and Rick Howard left World Industries to create something different in Torrance, California. The brand's distinctive logo, designed by artist Andy Jenkins, became instantly recognizable across skateboard decks and streetwear. Girl built their reputation on authentic street skating and a team of riders who pushed skateboarding forward.
Girl operates as part of the Crailtap family, which includes Chocolate Skateboards, Royal Trucks, Fourstar Clothing, and Lakai footwear. This connection gives Girl access to a complete ecosystem of skateboard gear while maintaining their unique identity. Their skateboard decks feature clean graphics and solid construction, while their apparel line captures the same aesthetic that made their boards iconic. Girl represents the California street skating culture that influenced skateboarding worldwide.
